Canosa Ct. a Sheridan officer was alerted of a nearby stolen vehicle by the Lojack tracking device installed in the patrol vehicle. After tracking the GPS signal for a short time, Englewood and Sheridan officers were able to recover the vehicle in a parking lot near the area of US285 and S. Santa Fe Dr.&lt;/span&gt;                   &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#660000;"&gt;Assault&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000066;"&gt;On April 10, 2010 at approximately 8:50 p.m., a Sheridan officer was working off duty in the 3500 block of S. Platte River Dr. The officer heard yelling in the parking lot, and upon checking, located two females that were involved in a physical altercation. After investigating, one suspect was summonsed into court charged with assault.&lt;/span&gt;       &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#660000;"&gt;Motor Vehicle Theft&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000066;"&gt;On April 12, 2010 at approximately 8:30 a.m., Sheridan Police responded to the 3400 block of W. Quincy Ave. on a reported motor vehicle theft. Upon arrival officers learned that the victims vehicle was taken from the parking lot overnight. The vehicle was entered into the nationwide database as stolen, and possible suspect information has been obtained. The case is under investigation at this time.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#660000;"&gt;Attempted Motor Vehicle Theft &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#660000;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000099;"&gt; On April 14, 2010 at approximately 8:05 p.m., Sheridan Police responded to the 3600 block of S. River Point Parkway on a reported attempted motor vehicle theft. When officers arrived, they learned that the victim’s vehicle was parked in a parking lot for approximately two hours. When the victim returned, she found her vehicles ignition was destroyed but the suspect(s) were unable to start the vehicle. Hampden Ave. and S. Zuni St. The officer stopped a vehicle for running a stop sign and upon contact observed an odor of alcohol from the driver. After conducting roadside maneuvers, the driver was arrested for DUI. The suspect was processed at the Sheridan Police Department and summonsed to court.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#660000;"&gt;Domestic Violence&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000066;"&gt;On April 6, 2010 at approximately 2:15 a.m., Sheridan Police responded to the 3600 block of S. Lowell Blvd. on a reported disturbance. Upon arrival officers learned that the male suspect arrived at his wife’s temporary residence and began pounding on the door. When the victim opened the door the suspect demanded paperwork and entered the residence taking her company cell phone. The suspect fled the scene but was later located. The suspect was transported to the Arapahoe County Jail on several domestic violence related charges.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#660000;"&gt;Prescription Fraud&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000066;"&gt;On April 6, 2010 at approximately 10:25 a.m., Sheridan Police responded to the 4000 block of S. River Point Parkway on a reported prescription fraud. When officers arrived they learned that a female suspect has been filling fraudulent prescriptions at the pharmacy. Officers learned that the same suspect has also been filling fraudulent prescription at other pharmacies. The suspect has been identified and the case will continue to be investigated by the D.E.A. and Sheridan Detectives.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#660000;"&gt;Domestic Violence Kidnapping&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000066;"&gt;On April 7, 2010 at approximately 7:10 p.m., Sheridan Police responded to the 3800 block of S. Lowell Blvd. on a reported domestic violence kidnapping that occurred in the 1600 block of W. Girard Ave. When officers arrived, they learned the suspect assaulted the victim and held her against her will before she was able to get away. Officers also learned the suspect was still located at the W. Girard Ave. location, armed with a shotgun. Officers responded to the Girard address but the suspect refused to come out of the residence. Federal Blvd. on a reported single vehicle accident. When officers arrived they located a single vehicle, which crashed into the guardrail. Officers contacted the driver of the vehicle, and after performing roadside maneuvers; the driver was arrested for DUI. During the crash the suspect damaged approximately fifty feet of guardrail. The suspect was booked in at the Sheridan Police Department and summonsed to court.&lt;/span&gt;                   &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#660000;"&gt;Residential Burglary&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000066;"&gt;On March 27, 2010 at approximately 6:15 a.m., Sheridan Police responded to the 3400 block of S. Platte River Dr. on a reported burglary in progress. When officers arrived on scene they located the suspect who was attempting to flee. Officers learned that the suspect forced his way into the victim’s front residence door. The victim intercepted the suspect at the door and was assaulted while trying to keep the suspect out. The suspect was transported to the Arapahoe County Jail charged with 1st degree Burglary.&lt;/span&gt;     &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#660000;"&gt;Residential Burglary&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000066;"&gt;On April 1, 2010 at approximately 10:20 a.m., Sheridan Police responded to the 3400 block of S. Platte River Dr. on a reported burglary/robbery. When officers arrived the victim stated that two suspects knocked on her door advising they were maintenance. When the victim opened the door, the two suspects displayed handguns. The victim was held at gunpoint in her kitchen while the other suspect stole money, jewelry, and other items. The suspects took the victims cell phone and fled in a red truck and maroon colored Suburban. Officers have developed leads in this case, and it is under investigation.&lt;/span&gt;    &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#660000;"&gt;Menacing/Assault&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000066;"&gt;On April 1, 2010 at approximately 12:50 p.m., Sheridan Police responded to the 3400 block of S. Alcott St. on a reported disturbance. When officers arrived, two victims were located. The victims were taken to a local hospital for various injuries. Officers learned that multiple persons were involved in an argument, which became physical with weapons involved. At one point during the altercation one of the suspects displayed a handgun, and another suspect used a taser. Knox Ct. on an alarm. After checking the exterior doors of the business the officer found everything secured. As the officer started to walk away from the school he noticed a suspect inside dressed in dark clothing. Shortly after officers set up a perimeter, the suspect ran out an east exit. After a brief foot pursuit, the officers caught the suspect. The suspect was booked in at the Sheridan Police Department and charges are being filed with the Arapahoe County District Attorney’s Office.&lt;/span&gt;                 &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#660000;"&gt;Domestic Violence Assault&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000066;"&gt;On March 21, 2010 at approximately 7:15 p.m., Sheridan Police responded to the 3600 block of S. Lowell Blvd. on a reported disturbance. When officers arrived, they learned that the victim was assaulted by her husband during an argument. The suspect fled the scene prior to officers arriving, and is at large at this time. An arrest warrant has been completed and officers continue to follow up to locate the suspect.&lt;/span&gt;   &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#660000;"&gt;Burglary&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000066;"&gt;On March 23, 2010 at approximately 5:50 p.m., Sheridan Police responded to the 3600 block of S. Knox Ct. on a reported burglary. When the officer arrived it was learned that the victim was gone from the residence during the day. When the victim returned she found multiple electronic items missing from her residence. There was no sign of any forced entry and there are no investigative leads at this time.&lt;/span&gt;   &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#660000;"&gt;Domestic Violence Assault&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000066;"&gt;On March 26, 2010 at approximately 2:10 a.m., Sheridan Police responded to the 3600 block of S. Federal Blvd. on a reported disturbance. When officers arrived on scene they located a male and female who were involved in a physical altercation. Officers learned that the male victim came to the business to bring his intoxicated wife home. When the victim attempted to bring the suspect outside, the suspect became upset and began assaulting him. The officer stopped the vehicle and upon contact, detected the odor of alcohol from the driver. The driver was ultimately arrested for DUI and possession of Marijuana. The driver was booked in at the Sheridan Police Department and summonsed into court.&lt;/span&gt;                 &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#660000;"&gt;Domestic Violence Kidnapping&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000066;"&gt;On March 14, 2010 at approximately 7:43 p.m., Sheridan officers responded to the 2900 block of W. Hampden Ave. on a reported disturbance. When officers arrived they were advised that a man was dragging a female out of the back of the building. Officers located the victim who advised that her boyfriend physically assaulted her, then dragged her into the parking lot. The victim further stated that her boyfriend told her she was going to die tonight and had a gun in his vehicle. The victim was able to escape and the suspect fled. With the assistance of the Englewood Police Department the suspect was later located. The suspect was arrested and booked into the Arapahoe County Jail on multiple charges. The gun was not located and the suspect advised that he disposed of it in the South Platte River.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#660000;"&gt;Child Abuse&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000066;"&gt;On March 18, 2010 at approximately 11:45 a.m., Sheridan Police were contacted by the Arapahoe County Human Services regarding a possible child abuse. Sheridan Police were advised that the victim lives in the 3600 block of S. Lowell Blvd. During the investigation officers learned the victim’s stepfather struck her with a belt buckle leaving bruises to her leg. The suspect was located and booked in at the Sheridan Police Department and charged with child abuse.&lt;/span&gt;   &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#660000;"&gt;Vicious Animal&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000066;"&gt;On March 15, 2010 at approximately 5:00 p.m., Sheridan Police responded to Swedish Medical Center on a reported dog attack that occurred in the area of W. Milan Ave. and S. Knox Ct. When the officer arrived, he learned the female victim was attacked by a Pit Bull while walking home. The victim was treated for multiple injuries. Oxford Ave. on a reported motor vehicle theft. When the officer arrived it was learned that the victim left her keys on a table in the business and when she returned the keys were missing. The victim went to the parking lot and found her vehicle was gone. The vehicle was entered into the nationwide database as stolen, and officers are reviewing video surveillance for possible suspect information.&lt;/span&gt;                &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#660000;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Motor Vehicle Theft&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000066;"&gt;On March 11, 2010 at approximately 2:30 p.m., Sheridan Police responded to the 2700 block of W. Hampden Ave. on a reported motor vehicle theft. When the officer arrived it was learned that the victim left his vehicle at the business for repair. When an employee of the business tried to find the customers vehicle in the parking lot it was gone. The officer verified with the victim that he didn’t take the vehicle back, then entered it into the nationwide database as stolen.&lt;/span&gt; &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="color:#660000;"&gt;Robbery&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000066;"&gt;On March 9, 2010 at approximately 11:45 a.m., Sheridan Police responded to the 3200 block of W. Oxford Ave. on a reported robbery. When officers arrived on scene they learned that the victim was approached by the suspect while riding his bicycle. The suspect then physically assaulted the victim and took his bicycle. The suspect has been identified in this case and arrest warrant is being obtained.&lt;/span&gt; &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="color:#660000;"&gt;Assault&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000066;"&gt;On March 12, 2010 at approximately 5:00 p.m., Sheridan Police responded to the 3300 block of S. Bryant St. on a reported assault. When the officer arrived it was learned that the victim was in the alley and was approached by several suspects. One of the suspects punched the victim in the head then fled. River Point Parkway on a reported suspicious vehicle. When officers arrived they located a vehicle, which was parked off the road in the grass. The vehicles driver window was broken and the ignition was damaged. Officers contacted the owner of the vehicle and learned it was stolen out of Lakewood.&lt;/span&gt;                &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#660000;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Motor Vehicle Theft&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000066;"&gt;On March 2, 2010 at approximately 2:45 p.m., Sheridan Police responded to the 3600 block of S. Lowell Blvd. on a reported motor vehicle theft. When officers arrived they learned that the victim last observed his vehicle parked in the parking lot early in the morning. When the victim returned to his vehicle later in the day it was missing. Officers entered the vehicle into the nationwide database as stolen.&lt;/span&gt; &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#660000;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Residential Burglary&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000066;"&gt;On March 2, 2010 at approximately 3:40 p.m., Sheridan Police responded to the 3100 block of S. Bryant St. on a reported residential burglary. When officers arrived they learned that the victim left their residence at approximately 12:30 p.m. When the victim returned at approximately 3:40 p.m., they found the back door kicked in and multiple electronic items were missing. Officers were able to obtain evidence on scene, and the case is under investigation.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#660000;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Felony Menacing&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000066;"&gt;On March 2, 2010 at approximately 4:00 p.m., Sheridan Police responded to the police department lobby reference a felony menacing that occurred in the 3200 block of W. Oxford Ave. When officers arrived they learned that the victim was walking home when he was confronted by the suspect who pointed a knife at him.  The victim was able to avoid any assault and recognized the suspect. Officers were able to locate the suspect at a later time and booked him in at the Sheridan Police Department. Oxford Ave. on a reported disturbance. When officers arrived on scene they learned that a fight began in the business during a private party. An employee attempted to break up the fight and in the process he was assaulted. Officers located several suspects in the parking lot who were ultimately summonsed into court for disorderly conduct.&lt;/span&gt;               &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="color:#660000;"&gt;Burglary&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000066;"&gt;On February 23, 2010 at approximately 9:00 a.m., Sheridan Police responded to the 4100 block of S. Federal Blvd. on a reported burglary. When officers arrived on scene they learned that the property was burglarized twice in two days. During each burglary items in the property were vandalized. Officers collected DNA evidence on scene, which will be processed for possible suspect(s) information. The case remains under investigation.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="color:#660000;"&gt;Shots Fired&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000066;"&gt;On February 23, 2010 at approximately 10:55 p.m., Sheridan Police responded to the 3400 block of S. Clay St. on a reported shots fired. When officers arrived on scene they learned that a male suspect was firing shots from a shotgun outside of the residence. Officers evacuated several persons in the area and attempted to call the suspect out of the house. After the suspect refused to comply with orders officers made entry into the house. The suspect was located, and after a brief struggle the suspect was taken into custody. Officers located the weapon and the suspect was booked into the Arapahoe County Jail on multiple charges.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="color:#660000;"&gt;Possession of Marijuana&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000066;"&gt;On February 24, 2010 at approximately 2:00 p.m., Sheridan Police responded to the 3200 block of W. Oxford Ave. reference two juveniles smoking Marijuana. Alcott St. on a reported burglary. When officers arrived on scene they learned that the victim left his residence for a short time. When the victim returned he found items lying on the floor throughout the residence. The suspect(s) entered the residence through an unlocked bedroom window. Officers located evidentiary items left behind, and this case is currently under investigation.&lt;/span&gt;               &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:lucida grande;"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#660000;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Domestic Violence Assault&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000066;"&gt;On February 14, 2010 at approximately 2:55 a.m., Sheridan Police responded to the 3400 block of S. Platte River Dr. on a reported assault. When officers arrived on scene they learned that a female victim was involved in an argument with her boyfriend. During the argument the suspect struck the victims car window with a tire iron. The suspect then physically assaulted the victim. The suspect fled the scene before officers arrived, but turned himself in at a later time.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#660000;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Robbery&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:lucida grande;"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000099;"&gt;On February 14, 2010 at approximately 1:15 a.m., Sheridan Police responded to the 3300 block of W. Milan Ave. on a reported robbery. When officers arrived on scene they learned that the female victim was attending a party at a nearby residence. When the victim left the party she began to walk home. While walking in the 3300 block of W. Milan Ave., an unknown male approached her, taking her purse by force. The suspect ran on foot and has not been identified at this time.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:lucida grande;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="color:#660000;"&gt;DUI Hit and Run&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000066;"&gt;On February 14, 2010 at approximately 12:15 a.m., Sheridan Police responded to the area of S. Santa Fe Dr. and W. Oxford Ave. on a reported hit and run accident. While officers were investigating they learned that the suspect was involved in another accident in Englewood. The suspect attempted to flee the scene but was apprehended by Englewood officers. The driver initially failed to stop but after striking a curb the suspect vehicle was stopped. When the officer contacted the driver he detected a strong odor of alcohol. While the officer was conducting roadside maneuvers the passenger in the vehicle continuously interfered with the investigation. After several warnings the passenger was taken into custody for obstructing. The driver was also taken into custody. Both suspects were processed and issued summonses, before being transported to detox centers.&lt;/span&gt;            &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="color:#660000;"&gt;Assault&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000066;"&gt;On February 2, 2010 at approximately 10:00 a.m., Sheridan Police responded to the 3200 block of W. Oxford Ave. on a reported prior assault. When officers arrived they learned that the victim was assaulted by her mother on the previous night during an argument. The victim sustained visible injuries to her face and was treated at a local hospital. The mother was located and summonsed into court on assault charges.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#660000;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;DUI / Traffic Accident&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000066;"&gt;On February 5, 2010 at approximately 10:30 p.m., Sheridan Police responded to the 4000 block of S. Santa Fe Dr. on a reported three-car accident. While investigating the accident officers suspected one of the drivers were intoxicated. Officers conducted roadside maneuvers and the driver was subsequently arrested and charged with driving under the influence.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#660000;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Aggravated Robbery&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000066;"&gt;On February 5, 2010 at approximately 8:00 p.m. Sheridan Police responded to the 2900 block of W. Hampden Ave. on a reported robbery. When officers arrived they learned that the female victim was standing outside of the building when an unidentified male suspect approached her. The suspect simulated a weapon  demanding money from the victim. The victim cooperated and gave the suspect all of her money. The suspect then fled on foot. King St. on a reported burglary. When officers arrived on scene they learned that the victim left her residence for a short time, and when she returned she found jewelry missing from her bathroom. The case is under investigation and there are no suspects at this time.&lt;/span&gt;            &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="color:#660000;"&gt;Burglary&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000066;"&gt;On January 26, 2010 at approximately 1:00 a.m., Sheridan Police responded to the 2600 block of W. Dartmouth Ave. on a reported burglary. When officers arrived on scene they learned that when the victims returned home they observed a person inside their residence as they approached. When the victims entered their residence the suspect fled out the back door. Several items were taken from the residence and a door was damaged. This case is under investigation and there are no suspects at this time.&lt;/span&gt;          &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#660000;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Criminal Mischief&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000066;"&gt;On January 29, 2010 at approximately 12:30 a.m., Sheridan officers responded to the 4200 block of S. Dale Ct. on a reported criminal mischief. When officers arrived they located a vehicle that had a shattered rear window and a large rock inside. There were no other vehicles damaged in the area. This case is currently under investigation.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="color:#660000;"&gt;Domestic Violence Harassment&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000066;"&gt;On January 29, 2010 at approximately 11:30 a.m., Sheridan officers responded to the 3300 block of S. Federal Blvd. on a reported physical disturbance. When officers arrived they located two suspects. Officers learned that the suspects were arguing at a nearby bus stop. The argument then escalated and both suspects began throwing each other’s personal items onto S. Federal Blvd. causing traffic to be disrupted. Oxford Ave. on a reported large physical disturbance involving approximately twenty people. When officers arrived on scene multiple fights were in progress. Other agencies responded to assist Sheridan officers in restoring order. Several suspects were located and summonsed for various charges.&lt;/span&gt;            &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#660000;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Theft / Assault&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000066;"&gt;On January 18, 2010 at approximately 4:00 p.m., Sheridan Police responded to the 3600 block of S. Federal Blvd. on a reported assault. When officers responded they learned that the victim attempted to sell jewelry to the suspect. During the exchange, the suspect concealed jewelry in his pocket and attempted to leave. When the victim attempted to hold the suspect until police arrived, the suspect began punching and kicking the victim. Officers were able to locate the suspect and he was summonsed into court.&lt;/span&gt;         &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#660000;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="color:#660000;"&gt;Attempted Murder&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000066;"&gt;On January 19, 2010 at approximately 1:40 p.m., Sheridan officers were dispatched to the area of S. Federal Blvd. and W. Hampden Ave. on a reported vehicle hit and run. While officers were responding they learned that the suspect vehicle was reportedly ramming the victim vehicle as they continued on S. Federal Blvd. The victim drove to the police department seeking safety. After officers interviewed the victim it was learned that while the victim was driving her vehicle she observed her husbands vehicle behind her. When the victim stopped for a traffic light the suspect began ramming her vehicle. During this time the victim’s vehicle was pushed into oncoming traffic. The victim was able to flee but the suspect continued trying to ram her vehicle. The suspect fled the scene and arrest warrants are being obtained.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#660000;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Burglary&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000066;"&gt;On January 23, 2010 at approximately 2:30 a.m., Sheridan Police responded to the 3400 block of S. Federal Blvd. on a reported burglary in progress. When officers arrived on scene they observed evidence indicating the suspect was still inside the business. After a short time officers were able to observe the suspect through a window. As the officer turned around to contact the vehicle it left. The officer was able to catch up to the vehicle and stop it for a traffic violation. During the contact the officer found Marijuana on the driver and passenger. Both were cited into court for possession of Marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.&lt;/span&gt;         &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#660000;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Warrant Arrest/Resisting Arrest&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000066;"&gt;On December 22, 2009 at approximately 3:55 p.m., Sheridan officers responded to the 3400 block of S. Platte River Dr. to execute a search warrant. While executing the warrant the suspect returned to his residence. When officers attempted to arrest the suspect for two unrelated warrants he began to resist officers. After a brief struggle the suspect was taken into custody. The suspect was transported to the Arapahoe County Jail on the warrants and additional charges are pending while Sheridan Detectives investigate.&lt;/span&gt;   &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="color:#660000;"&gt;Child Abuse&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000066;"&gt;On December 22, 2009 at approximately 1:30 p.m., Sheridan Police responded to a hospital in Aurora to meet with the Department of Human Services regarding a possible child abuse in the City of Sheridan. When the officer arrived it was learned that an infant child was suffering from serious injuries. This case is under investigation by the Sheridan Police Department and Department of Human Services.&lt;/span&gt; &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="color:#660000;"&gt;Robbery&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000066;"&gt;On December 23, 2009 at approximately 10:30 p.m., Sheridan Police responded to the 3400 block of W. Quincy Ave. reference a robbery. Upon arrival the officer learned that earlier in the evening the victim was in his residence with an acquaintance and another unknown person. The two subjects eventually left and the victim went to sleep. After a short period of time the victim heard a loud pounding on his front door. When the victim went to open his door it was forced open by the two subjects that were there earlier in the evening. The victim was punched several times and the two suspects took the victims wallet and an electronic before fleeing. Hampden Ave. on a reported motor vehicle theft. Upon arrival it was learned that employees at the business were attempting to jump-start another vehicle. The employee left the keys in the vehicle and went into the business to get jumper cables. When the employee returned the vehicle was gone. Video surveillance was collected and this case is under investigation.&lt;/span&gt;         &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="color:#660000;"&gt;Domestic Violence Assault&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000066;"&gt;On December 18, 2009 at approximately 1:30 a.m., Sheridan Police responded to the 4100 block of S. Federal Blvd. on a prior domestic violence assault. Upon arrival it was learned that the victim had an argument with her boyfriend and during the argument the victim closed and locked her bedroom door to avoid the argument. The male suspect kicked the door open then physically assaulted the victim. Officers were able to locate and arrest the suspect. The suspect was transported to the Arapahoe County Jail and booked in on Domestic Violence Assault charges.&lt;/span&gt;   &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="color:#660000;"&gt;Disturbance&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000066;"&gt;On December 19, 2009 at approximately 6:40 p.m., Sheridan Police responded to the 3600 block of S. River Point Parkway on a reported disturbance. When officers arrived it was learned that a former boyfriend of an employee entered the business demanding the employees personal information from other employees. During the incident the suspect was yelling at customers and employees. When the employee refused to release the information to the suspect, the suspect then grabbed a small child from the arms of another employee and said fine ill just take the baby. The employees were able to take the baby back from the suspect’s arms before he fled from the business. The incident was captured on video and the case is under investigation. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#660000;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Aggravated Robbery&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000066;"&gt;On December 14, 2009 at approximately 8:50 p.m., Sheridan Police responded to the 4100 block of S. Federal Blvd. on an aggravated robbery. When officers arrived it was learned that two suspects entered the business armed with a shotgun. The suspects took money from the safe and physically assaulted an employee before fleeing on foot. Oxford Ave. on a reported burglary. When officers arrived they learned that the business owner received a call from his alarm company advising of activation. The owner responded to his business and found the front door glass was shattered and multiple computers were taken from a locked display. All the stolen computers have been entered into the nationwide database as stolen. This case is under investigation.&lt;/span&gt;        &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="color:#660000;"&gt;Possession of Schedule II with Intent to Distribute&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000066;"&gt;On December 6, 2009 at approximately 2:00 a.m., a Sheridan Officer was patrolling in the 1800 block of W. Oxford Ave. and observed a suspicious person. As the officer made contact the male tried to hide something behind a wall. The officer checked behind the wall and located several bags of Methamphetamine along with a pipe and cash. The suspect was taken into custody and booked in at the Sheridan Police Department.&lt;/span&gt; &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#660000;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Possession of Marijuana&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000066;"&gt;On December 5, 2009 at approximately 7:30 p.m., a Sheridan officer observed a male subject crawling on the ground in a parking lot in the 4300 block of S. Federal Blvd. The officer contacted the subject and ultimately located Marijuana in his pocket. The suspect was issued a summons for Possession of Marijuana.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#660000;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Theft from Motor Vehicle&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000066;"&gt;On December 8, 2009 at approximately 7:50 a.m., Sheridan Police responded to the 3800 block of S. Knox Ct. on a reported theft. When the officer arrived it was learned that the victim parked her vehicle in a parking lot and left her vehicle unlocked for several minutes. When the victim returned she found her purse was stolen from the front seat of her vehicle. Edgemore Dr. on a reported domestic violence assault. When officers arrived on scene they learned that a female victim was physically assaulted by her boyfriend during an argument. The male suspect was arrested and transported to the Arapahoe County Jail and is awaiting his court appearance.&lt;/span&gt;     &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#660000;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Motor Vehicle Theft&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000066;"&gt;On November 27, 2009 at approximately 5:10 p.m., Sheridan Police responded to the 3600 block of S. River Point Parkway on a reported motor vehicle theft. Upon arrival officers learned that the victim parked her vehicle in a parking lot and when she returned her vehicle was missing. The vehicle was entered into CCIC/NCIC as stolen and was successfully recovered by the Denver Police Department several days later.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#660000;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Domestic Violence Assault&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000066;"&gt;On November 28, 2009 at approximately 9:20 p.m., Sheridan Police responded to the 3600 block of S. Lowell Blvd. on a reported physical disturbance. When officers arrived on scene it was learned that the female victim was involved in an argument with her boyfriend. During the argument the male suspect began physically assaulting the female victim and fled the scene before police arrived. Officers also learned that the suspect is wanted out of the State of Florida for a felony warrant. At this time the suspect has not been located and a warrant has been completed for Domestic Violence assault.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#660000;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Residential Burglary&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000066;"&gt;On December 1, 2009 at approximately 5:50 p.m., Sheridan Police responded to the 4000 block of S. Hazel Ct. on a reported burglary. When officers arrived on scene it was learned that the suspect(s) might have entered the residence through a dog door. The victim’s personal belongings were disturbed and a coin collection was taken. Irving St. on a reported motor vehicle theft. Upon arrival the officer learned that the victims vehicle was stolen within the last two hours. After collecting the needed information to enter the vehicle as stolen, the officer observed a vehicle matching the description drive by the residence. The officer caught up to the vehicle in the 3200 block of W. Bear Creek Drive, where he found it abandoned with the doors opened. Officers setup a perimeter and were able to locate one of the suspects. The suspect was processed at the Sheridan Police Department and Detectives are following up to identify additional suspects.&lt;/span&gt;     &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#660000;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Eluding Police Officer&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000099;"&gt;On November 22, 2009 at approximately 9:55 a.m., A Sheridan officer observed a vehicle speeding on US285. When the officer got behind the vehicle to stop it, the driver ran through a red light and fled at a high rate of speed. The officer was able to obtain the license plate and a suspect has been identified. The case is being investigated and charges will be filed with the Arapahoe County District Attorney’s Office.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#660000;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Aggravated Robbery&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000099;"&gt;On November 23, 2009 at approximately 3:55 a.m., Sheridan Police responded to the 3500 block of S. Federal Blvd. on an armed robbery that just occurred. When officers arrived on scene they learned that an unidentified male suspect entered the business and displayed a knife to the employee. The suspect demanded cash from the register and the employee complied. The suspect then locked the employee in the bathroom and fled the scene with approximately 90.00 dollars in cash. Detectives are investigating this case&lt;/span&gt;.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#660000;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Eluding Police Officer&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000099;"&gt;On November 23, 2009 at approximately 12:45 a.m., a Sheridan officer observed a vehicle speeding northbound in the 4200 block of S. Federal Blvd. The officer caught up to the vehicle near W. Oxford Ave. and S. Hazel Ct. When the officer attempted to stop the vehicle, the driver drove over several curbs and grassy areas to elude capture. The vehicle then fled through a field and the driver ran from the vehicle. The suspect was able to escape a perimeter. When the officer arrived, he contacted the reporting party, who is a park ranger with South Suburban Parks and Recreation. The reporting party stated that someone had tagged the inside of the men’s restroom by the picnic area. The officer found that the suspect had tagged the white wall inside the restroom with a green marker. The damage is valued at approximately $107.00; this case has been forwarded to the Graffiti Task Force.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000066;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="color:#660000;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;THEFT&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="color:#660000;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000066;"&gt;On November 5, 2009 Sheridan Police Officers responded to the 3600 block of River Point Parkway on a report of a theft. When the officers arrived the reporting party stated she parked her Black and Red Ponderosa Mountain Bike valued at $700.00 in front of the store while she went inside. When the reporting party returned about 15 minutes later the bike was missing. The officer checked the video surveillance tape and observed a white male hanging around the bike rack; the male party walked around the shopping complex, then returned to the bike rack and took the unsecured bike from the bike rack and rode southbound through the parking lot. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000066;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="color:#660000;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;GRAFFITI&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="color:#660000;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000066;"&gt;On November 2, 2009 a Sheridan Police Officer was patrolling the area of the 3300 block of W. Hampden Ave., when he found a 2003 Nissan truck that was parked in front of a business that had been tagged with neon pink spray paint. The damage is valued at $130.00, the case has been forwarded to the Graffiti Task Force.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000066;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="color:#330000;"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#660000;"&gt;VICIOUS ANIMAL&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="color:#330000;"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#660000;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000066;"&gt;On November 4, 2009, Sheridan Neighborhood Services Investigator responded to the 3800 block of South Lowell Blvd. on a report of two people that had been attacked by three dogs. When the Neighborhood Services Investigator arrived one of the victims, stated that he was walking in front of the house that had three dogs inside a fenced yard. The victim stated that the dogs jumped the fence and ran after him, one of the dogs was able to bite him several times on the right calf. The second victim stated that he was also attacked by the three dogs, but because he was wearing long jean pants, the dogs were unable to break the skin. The dogs were taken from the house and placed in bite quarantine at the shelter in Golden. Irving St. on a physical disturbance. When officers arrived on scene they observed a male run into the residence and close the door. Officers learned that the male just assaulted his ex wife and mother in law during an argument. Officers attempted to make contact with the male suspect who ran into the residence but he refused to answer the door. Officers negotiated with the male and were eventually able to talk him into coming out of the residence. The male suspect was arrested on domestic violence charges and twenty five thousand dollars in traffic warrants. After processing the suspect was transported to the Arapahoe County Jail.   &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="color:#660000;"&gt;DUI Hit and Run&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;On November 1, 2009 at approximately 2:40 a.m., a Sheridan officer was patrolling in the 4000 block of S. Federal Blvd. and observed a male yelling at another vehicle leaving a parking lot. The officer learned that the vehicle that left the parking lot just backed into another vehicle then fled. The officer was able to catch up to the fleeing vehicle several blocks away. The driver was ultimately arrested for DUI and hit and run.    &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#660000;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;2nd Degree Assault&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt; &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;On November 1, 2009 at approximately 3:00 a.m., a Sheridan officer responded to Porter Hospital reference an assault that occurred near the 4400 block of S. Federal Blvd. When the officer arrived it was learned that two victims were assaulted in the street near a party they attended. The victims stated that a car full of males pulled up in the street and began assaulting the first victim. The second victim attempted to help the first victim but was also assaulted by the suspects. During the altercation one of the victims was struck with an unknown metal object. The victims stated they don’t know who the suspects are and were unable to provide any descriptions.   &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#660000;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Shots Fired&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;On November 1, 2009 at approximately 4:35 a.m., Sheridan Officers responded to the 3400 block of S. Platte River Dr. on shots fired. When officers arrived on scene they learned that someone was shooting a gun in the complex. Officers found several objects that were struck by bullets in the complex. Officers also learned that one of the bullets struck a window and missed a victim by several feet. While searching the area an officer noticed a person acting suspicious looking out a window. Officers contacted the residence and observed a handgun during a protective sweep of the residence. Oxford Ave. when he was flagged down by a group of juveniles. The officer learned that one of the female juveniles was walking across the high school parking lot when an older model red or orange colored vehicle pulled up to her. The driver was an adult male and told her to get in the car. The juvenile victim screamed and ran towards her group of friends that were ahead of her in the parking lot. The suspect vehicle fled the parking lot and has not been located at this time.  &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#660000;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Motor Vehicle Theft&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;On October 27, 2009 at approximately 11:15 p.m., Sheridan Police responded to the 1800 block of W. Oxford Ave. on a reported motor vehicle theft. When the officer arrived it was learned that the victim parked his vehicle in a parking lot for several hours and when he returned, the vehicle was gone. The vehicle has been entered into a nationwide database as an active stolen vehicle.  &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="color:#660000;"&gt;Motor Vehicle Theft &lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;On October 27, 2009 at approximately 2:45 p.m., Sheridan Police responded to the 3400 block of W. Quincy Ave. on a reported recovered motor vehicle theft. Officers learned that the victim’s vehicle was stolen from a parking lot in the 3400 block of W. Quincy Ave. during the previous night. The victim began searching the area and located her vehicle in the 4400 block of S. Lowell Blvd. At this time there are no investigative leads in this case.   &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="color:#660000;"&gt;Shoplifting&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;On October 29, 2009 at approximately 7:40 p.m., Sheridan Police responded to the 3700 block of S. River Point Parkway on a shoplifting. When officers arrived on scene it was learned that several suspects entered the store and began collecting merchandise. The suspects then ran out of the front doors and fled in a gray colored Nissan. An employee of the business was able to obtain a license plate from the vehicle as it fled. When the officers arrived they observed an 11 month old child bleeding from the forehead. The officers noticed three wounds on the child’s forehead, the first open wound was about one inch in length, just above the child’s right eye, the second wound was about one and a half inches in length and was on the upper portion of the child’s forehead, the third wound was a puncture wound which was near the right temple. The mother of the child told the officers that the child was playing at her house in the 3200 block of South Bryant St. then for no reason the family dog attacked the child. According to the mother the dog has never been aggressive towards the child before. The officers contacted the owner of the dog, who stated that he has owned the dog which is part Akita-Chow-Shepherd mix for about eleven years. The owner was issued a summons for vicious animal and no rabies tag.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000066;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="color:#660000;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;GRAFFITI&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="color:#660000;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000066;"&gt;On October 17, 2009 Sheridan Police Officers responded to the 2700 block of West Hampden Ave. on a report of a vehicle that had been tagged. When the officers arrived the reporting party stated sometime over night someone tagged the side of a company truck that was parked in the parking lot of the business. The officer observed that the truck had been spray painted with red spray paint and that the damage is valued at approximately $20.00, this case will be forwarded to the Graffiti Task Force.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#660000;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;THEFT&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#660000;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000066;"&gt;On October 15, 2009 a Sheridan Police Officer was contacted reference a stolen wallet from the 4000 block of West River Point Pkwy. The reporting party stated that she realized that she had left her wallet on the table inside the business after she had left. The reporting party stated that she called the business after she realized that her wallet was missing, but the wallet had not been turned in.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#660000;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;CRIMINAL MISCHIEF TO VEHICLE&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="color:#660000;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000066;"&gt;On October 14, 2009 Sheridan Police Officers responded to the 3100 block of South Dale Ct. on a report of damage to a vehicle. When the officers arrived the reporting party stated that someone had smashed out the back window of his 1996 Honda Accord. The reporting party stated that he was contacted by his neighbor who stated that they captured the entire incident on a closed circuit surveillance camera mounted on the front of their house. Officers contacted the neighbors who pointed out the house where the suspect ran into before the police arrived. Officers contacted a female party at the suspect’s house, who stated that the suspect had left several hours ago. Officers received permission to search the house and located the suspect in the back bedroom. Federal Blvd. on a report of a female lying in a parking lot. When officers arrived on scene they located a heavily intoxicated female lying in the parking lot with temperatures below freezing. Officers learned that the female was dropped of in the parking lot by a taxi driver. Officers located the driver of the taxi and learned that the female became verbally abusive during transport and refused to pay for service. The driver stopped the vehicle and removed her from the cab leaving her extremely intoxicated in the freezing conditions. The taxicab driver was summonsed for reckless endangerment and the female was transported to a local hospital for treatment.    &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000066;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="color:#660000;"&gt;Police Vehicle Accident&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;On October 10, 2009 at approximately 9:50 a.m., a Sheridan officer was assisting two motorists who were involved in a traffic accident in the 3500 block of S. Santa Fe Dr. The road conditions were icy due to the weather and other motorists were driving too fast for conditions. The officer observed that one of the motorists involved in the original accident was standing on the roadway outside of his vehicle. Concerned for the motorist’s safety, the officer gave the motorist shelter in the police vehicle. The officer asked for further assistance to slow the traffic down on S. Santa Fe Dr. just as another officer arrived to assist, an out of control vehicle slammed into the front driver side of the police vehicle causing extreme damage. The officer and motorist in the police vehicle were not injured.    &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="color:#660000;"&gt;Possession of Marijuana/ False Reports&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt; &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;On October 12, 2009 at approximately 7:25 a.m., a Sheridan officer was patrolling in the 4000 block of S. Federal Blvd. and noticed an occupied vehicle outside of a vacant building. The officer contacted the vehicle to identify the occupants of the vehicle. While waiting for the clearances of both male occupants the officer noticed one of the males leaning forward in his seat and it appeared he was trying to hide something. When the officer returned to the vehicle it was learned that the driver was hiding Marijuana under the seat and the passenger was hiding his wallet. The Marijuana was located and the driver was summonsed into court. The officer then learned that the passenger provided a fictitious name and tried to hide his identification under the seat. The passenger had an outstanding warrant for his arrest and was transported to the Arapahoe County Jail. He was also charged with false reporting.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000066;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="color:#660000;"&gt;Possession of Marijuana&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;On October 14, 2009 at approximately 11:45 p.m., Sheridan officers responded to the 3400 block of W. Quincy Ave. on a reported odor of Marijuana. When officers arrived they located a residence and could smell the odor of Marijuana coming from the back door. Officers observed two females in the residence and were able to see a bag of Marijuana and a pipe on a table. Irving St. When the officer arrived, it was learned that an on site apartment manager collects rent money from tenants each month. The owner of the apartment learned that the apartment manager was then falsifying the deposit slips and keeping some of the money from the tenants over the last several months. The total loss was almost two thousand dollars. The suspect was interviewed and has confessed to the crime. Felony theft charges are being filed with the Arapahoe County District Attorney’s Office. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="color:#660000;"&gt;Motor Vehicle Theft/Resisting Arrest&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000066;"&gt;On September 29, 2009 at approximately 11:30 p.m., a Sheridan Police Officer was patrolling in the 3500 block of S. Federal Blvd., when the Officer observed a suspicious vehicle parked at a local convenience store. The officer pulled in to contact the vehicle as it began to leave the parking lot. The officer ran the license plate information and learned it was a stolen vehicle out of Denver. Before the officer attempted to stop the vehicle the driver exited and approached the officer. When the officer attempted to arrest the driver he began to run. A foot pursuit ensued and the suspect was able to elude capture. Officers began searching the area and after a short time located the suspect in a nearby backyard. After a brief struggle with the suspect the officers were able to gain control and place the suspect in custody. The suspect was transported to the Arapahoe County Jail and charges have been filed with the Arapahoe County District Attorneys Office&lt;/span&gt;.   &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="color:#660000;"&gt;Felony Theft&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt; &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000066;"&gt;On October 5, 2009 at approximately 10:15 a.m., Sheridan Police responded to the 1500 block of W. Hampden Ave. on a reported trailer theft. When the officer arrived on scene it was learned that the trailer was secured with a chain and lock but the suspect(s) cut through the chain to remove the trailer. The trailer has been entered nationwide as stolen.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="color:#660000;"&gt;Aggravated Robbery&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000066;"&gt;On August 12, 2009 at approximately 9:00 a.m., Sheridan Police responded to a business in the 3400 block of S. Federal Blvd. on an armed robbery. When officers arrived on scene they learned that the business was robbed by two suspects armed with handguns. The suspects fled the scene in a vehicle before officers arrived.
